Welcome back to my blog, an exploration into the nuanced world of parenting.
Beginning this journey reminds me of my professorial days, when I would prepare and discuss the syllabus at the start of each semester. I remember including details some might consider common knowledge, but in academia, you learn never to assume. Students often won’t peruse the syllabus unless guided to, necessitating an explicit walkthrough on day one.
Now, as I write this blog, I find myself reprising that professorial role, sharing perhaps more than necessary upfront. Yet, I feel it’s essential, just like those first-day syllabus readings. Every detail, every piece of information, has its place and importance.
